Default Found the low carb tortillas.

Haven't tried them yet. No soy, but they do have transfats. It's always
something. Why can't they make food that is good for you?

As seldom as I eat them I'd take transfats over soy any day. Still you'd
think if they were on the ball enough to knew that many of us dislike soy
they would dump transfats too.

What brand are they anyway?

Mission. Got both the regular flour and whole wheat. Just ate two of the
regular ones since they expire sooner than the others. They contain
cellulose fiber, otherwise known as paper. They felt funny. Too soft and
light. Tasted okay though. Will have to see how I test in two hours.

Don't think I'll be buying those again. BG was 105 before eating and 157
two hours later. Ate 2 tortillas, 1/2 cup fat free refried beans, some
onion and green pepper slices, 1/4 cup salasa, 1/4 cup shredded Mexican
cheese, and 1 1/2 stalks of celery. That works out to about 32 g carbs,
max. Probably not even quite that much.

Oooof. I have no problems with 'em at all! Oh well, back to the drawing
board I guess.

Can you make your own?

I made my own tortillas twice. Made corn ones once and flour ones once.
Both were far more trouble than they were worth. And with the small amount
that I eat of them, it would be even less worth it to make them. When I buy
a package of them, many get thrown away because I can't eat them fast
enough. Yes, I know they can be frozen, but I don't like the texture of
them after they've been frozen.
