Default Tortillas

Santa Fe brand, 60g whole wheat tortilla, 13g carb - 7g fiber
36g flour tortilla, 7g carb - 3g fiber
I like, DH will tolerate, he's been having one for breakfast wrapped around
an egg and slice of bacon.
He did gripe a little about the one I wrapped the tuna salad in, but I just
told him if he was planning to eat 25 g carb in a bowl of tomato soup with
it he didn't need 30g of carb in regular bread added to it.

I haven't tried those. I have bought some thin corn tortillas (can't
remember the brand) that were very good and much lower in carbs than the
others. I've also bought some low carb ones from The Tortilla Factory that
tasted very good, but I can't eat them because of the soy.

Sorry, I just looked, they have both soy oil (may contain one of) and soy
fiber

I've been getting these:

Mission low carb taco size flour tortillas

Total carbs is 18, fiber is 11, for a net of 7. They're tasty too, I've
been making quesadillas with them. I"m very pleased. No soy substitutes.

I love the Mission low carb tortillas.

I only hope when the low carb bandwagon fades, they'll still make them!!!

25 gram carbs in tomato soup hmm

you should try Knorr Tomato and Basil soup mix.
1 box makes three 1 cup servings at 13 grams of carbs per serving.
after bringing it to a boil you reduce to a simmer for 2 minutes and
done. 3 cups water 1 package of soup mix. no fuss, no muss, low
carb, great taste.

Unfortunately, most of the low-carb "starch" things - pasta, tortillas,
etc - are made of soy flour. And for those of us who have to limit soy
that puts them out of the running. Oh well, I don't miss that stuff
that much anyway and can always manage to count a tortilla or small
serving of pasta into my meal, if I want that food.

Fortunately, I did find an excellent low-carb high-fiber bread that
doesn't contain soy.

We really like the plain Campbell's with water, we haven't liked any other
kind we've tried.
btw, I don't boil or simmer, I nuke! I'll look for this Knorr's stuff to
try, I never heard of it.

Soy oil is kind of hard to avoid. But the fiber I can't have.

I will look for that. I've been buying some organic stuff that comes in a
waxed carton. It's lower in carbs than the canned stuff, but makes quite a
lot at a time. Angela loves tomato soup!

I was at the store today and I found some Knorr, but nothing with tomato,
just cream of spinach, cream of broccoli, oxtail something, broths...
