This is not the exact recipe I made. The one I made was very similar but I
remember putting in a little cream cheese instead of the milk.

I doubt that you could get them there. They're a long, somewhat thin, mild
pepper. They are not quite as sweet as a bell. Not really sure what you
could sub for them. I guess any pepper would work provided it's not too
hot.

Yes. Just a different shape. Now if you could get baby bell peppers or
even small ones that are rather skinny those would work.

Here we can get sweet peppers that come in red, yellow and orange. They
come in a bag or plastic box usually in the Spring and early summer. They
are small but long and narrow in shape. Those would work too.

Same as a Poblano only one is fresh and the other dried. A larger not
too hot pepper.

No, they are a chili, but not very hot. they do have some heat. I
sometimes use a dried onw with its seeds to add a litlle zip to a
vegetable or clean-up-the -kitchen soup.

I found this one for banana peppers, chuckled that you add jalapeno to
give it some chili flavour

http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/stuf...0000000259073/

many of the stuffed banana pepper recipes are a spicy italian sausage
and tomato sauce stuffing, which would be good too

there is something about baked peppers that completely changes the chili
pepper flavour!

Yes, but without the bite of the chili.

that's the confusing part Jan, while they are listed as a capsicum, they
are in the chili pepper family

I think they were low. I think the word LOW is the rating not the end of
the scale.

I have had chili rellenos at restaurants that have a bit of heat and some
don't...if you want some heat leave the seeds in Pablanos are a good
substitute....

A Dried Pablano is called a ancho chili...not Anaheim. They are two
different chilies.

Well this is getting more and more confusing!

Here we can get there in the red bell pepper, yellow and orange. They have a bag or plastic container, usually in spring and early summer. They may be small, but the narrow shape. Those will work. With only one fresh for the Poblano and other dry. A larger less pepper.
