Marty's Ribeye with Red Pepper Butter
* 1/2 red bell pepper, seeded and minced * 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature * 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper * 4 ribeye steaks Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Turn on broiler. Arrange steaks on a broiler pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Broil 4 minutes. Turn steaks and spread 1-1/2 tsp. pepper butter over each steak. Broil another 3 minutes for medium done meat. Transfer steaks to serving plates. Top with another 1-1/2 tsp. pepper butter. Serves 4 - Trace of carbs per serving. -- Starchless in Manitoba. |
