For my birthday I got a Big City Slider Station and a Slap Chop. I had asked
for both things.

The Slider Station works really well. I had read other reviews and knew not
to put the heat to any degree over medium or the non stick coating could
come off. As such it seemed to take 5 minutes per pan to cook the burgers
as opposed to the 2-4 it says in the instructions. This is for a well done
burger. The burgers are each about 2-3 bites so can easily be wrapped in a
small lettuce leaf to eat. I love it! Also very easy to clean.

My Slap Chop didn't come with instructions. I can't figure out how to open
it up like a butterfly. Does anyone have one who could tell me? The rest I
figured out. I only tried it on an onion. I may not have cut my onion
right. Mine was not big in diameter but long. Had to cut it in four pieces
to get the device to go through it. On the two pieces closest to the stem
end it sort of chopped the peel up a bit but it was easy to retrieve. One
the two pieces closest to the root end, the peel remained intact and all I
had to do was pluck it off and throw it away.

I don't personally have a problem with chopping onions and find it rather
easy to do but I really don't like peeling them. That's why I wanted this
device. And unlike other similar devices I have had in the past, it didn't
turn the onion to mush. Made a very nice chop. I didn't even have trouble
cleaning it even though I couldn't open it like a butterfly.

So for dinner tonight we are having sliders and I am having onions on mine.
I will do mine on potato rolls (can have only two) and Angela will have some
gluten free dinner rolls. The patties are small so I will probably overlap
three on each of mine. They do cook down quite a bit. I used 10% fat beef,
organic.

Thanks! It was on the 26th. Not sure the video shows in enough detail to
tell, but I'll watch it again.

Thanks! And in case anyone was wondering... There is a black piece that
says "open' and "close" on it. I could only see it in the right light.
That's why it wouldn't open.
