I bought this because Angela wanted to try it. Now I like Diet Sprite and
Diet 7-Up, but to me, Diet Sierra Mist tasted like what I assume scummy pond
water tastes like. I could not stand it at all.

This stuff isn't bad. Angela REALLY likes it. I think I'd give it about an
8 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest.

Ugh! I can't stand any of the Pepsi products. Never liked regular soda or
anything that tastes like it. Pepsi is too sickly sweet for me. My all
time favorite was Tab made with just saccharine. I loved the bitter after
taste. They ruined it for me when they added the Aspartame. Now it tastes
to me like Diet Coke, which over the years I have become accustomed to. I
prefer the kind with lime or if I can't get that, the regular stuff with a
squeeze of lemon or lime juice.

Wouldn't like it at all. I let Angela have that once, not realizing it was
loaded with caffeine. Ever seen a kid bounce off the ceiling?

My Grandson has ADHD and when he is not on meds he can drink the high caff
stuff and it doesn't affect him at all He is on his meds during the week
for school but to help keep his weight up he isn't on it for weekends...when
he starts driving(GULP) he will be on his meds when he drives.

I have an adult friend who treats her ADD with caffeine. For me,
though, the kind of stimulant matters. Caffeine wires me, but Adderall
(the prescribed "mixed amphetamines" I take in extended release low
dosage to help me function without my ADD interfering), doesn't speed me
up at all. I can even nap while taking it. At higher doses I get
speedy if my BG goes below the 80s, and the higher dose prevents me from
being hungry, so that's a recipe for breaking the land speed record for
talking! (BT, DT, luckily the coworkers present for it are friends of
mine!)

My Grandson is on Adderall...he is not allowed to have caffeine when he is
on his meds.....it can stimulate the heart to much. He does great on the
meds...except it does cut his appetite a bit....I guess in our family that
is not a bad thing The only time he gets talkative is when he is off his
pills and tired...and the bad thing is because he is off his meds he looses
his train of thought in mid sentence. We always ask if he is tired and he
say's "Why am I talking to Much?" I am so glad that he is older now because
he has more of an understanding of what ADHD is, and he finally knows the
importance of taking his meds. This years he is finally in regular
classes...he has been in Special Ed since 2nd grade..and has finally caught
up. His mid term report shows that he has all A's and B's and 1 C...not bad
for a kid that couldn't read by the end of second grade. Plus he is a
Freshman this year.

I grew up on TAB, back in the days when cyclamates were still "ok" in these
United States. I loved it, and remember the bottles were fancy, had a
textured feel to them. Remember that?

Yes! I loved those bottles so much I had them in my window. I loved
cyclamates too.

Still available in Canada. I got some fake brown sugar up there tht was
sweetened with cyclamates. Very good in cooked food.

Julie, how far are you from Canada? If you get up there you coul dlook
for it.

I only liked it in pre-made drinks. Have no other use for it. I'm about 2
hours from Vancouver but we never go there and bringing stuff back could be
a problem. You are only allowed so much. I doubt they still have the old
kind of Tab up there. But I could be wrong.
