Interesting. I have two tables one of which is labled "whole blood
calibrated" and it always matches the lab printout of their translation of
A1c to average bg. The other table is labeled "plasma calibrated" and it is
several points higher. Now this calculation falls somewhere between the two
tables I have been using.


5.9 whole blood calib. = 117
5.9 plasma calibrated = 133
5.9 calculated on this reference = 123

I guess they are all pretty close. I'm just going to stick with what
matches the lab my doc uses. I like the calculator though. Pretty handy.
