"Arbroath Smokie"
Thought I was the only one who loved this form of fish. My family
goes crazy when we can get this as well as smoked roe. We prepare a very rich butter sauce with and without a curry and drop large chunks into the sauce to heat through and serve with small fresh boiled potatoes. Oh you have made me so very hungry. Kilty |
"Arbroath Smokie"
Abroath Smokie has been awarded protected brand status and quite right too.
The chemical alternates are totally outclassed by the traditional way the Smokie is prepared. delicious! and a must try when you get the chance. Great with poached eggs for breakfast.
