Default Canned foods

I went to an emergency preparedness seminar. One of the topics was
always have canned foods ready at home.

Can anyone recommend canned foods?

For example, Ravioli is high on sodium but low on sugar.

Thanks
Mike

And very high on carbs, which is the same as sugar for a diabetic.

There's a lot to choose from:
Canned
Soups
spam - 0 carbs
salmom - 0 carbs
tuna - 0 carbs
peaches - 11 carbs per cup (packed in water)
asparagus - 3
Most green veggies are low in carbs.

I lot depends on if you can heat stuff up. I keep a couple a cans of sterno
handy.
