Default For those buying a new microwave oven

I read a post from a person who is replacing a 15 year old microwave, or radar
range as they called it. Now you have a perfectly good recipe book for cooking
with half the power of the new one. What to do.
Go to:
http://www.microwavecookingforone.co...Directory.html
There you will find a chart for converting old low powered recipes to new high
powered ovens.

No, Tom. It probably was a Radar Range. It was the name of a microwave oven
model.

(You remember from the movie "Airplane," when Lloyd Bridges is in the
control tower is tracking the plane's position, and the dialogue exchange
goes something like this:
"Check the radar range!"
"It's still got about 12 minutes, chief." )
