Default Rival Glazed Ceramic Crock Pot insert, for oven use?

Have a 5 quart Rival Crock pot and would like to use the glazed
ceramic insert in the gas oven as a baking vessel. Oven temps will
not exceel 375°F.
Since this model was discontinued, there's no support available from
Rival. It's in excellent shape with no pits or hairline type
fractures of any kind.
The ceramic material is approximately 3/8" to 1/2" thick all around.
I'm concerned about it cracking, but I've also got a clay cooker which
can certainly withstand these temps. Any comments about using this
insert in an oven environment would be appreciated.

The porcelain in our old original Rival cracked severely in the oven at
about 375F for several hours. We tossed it and bought new. We don't put the
new Rival in the oven.

Ceramic glazes are fired to cone 5, about 2100 degrees. If the cooker has
no stresses in it, the oven temperature is not a problem. Rapid heating and
cooling of anything ceramic can cause breakage.

You don't want to add a pint of cold liquid after it has been heating, nor
do you want to remove it from a hot oven and set it on a cold granite
countertop. I'd use either a wood trivet or the grates on the gas range.
