I am looking for any information on an old Hobart meat slicer.
The plate says
Spec 3441 (I am guessing this is model# equivalent)
Speed 1450
HP 1.6
3.9 amp

any help I can get on
its age?
can I get parts?
what is it worth?

What country are you in? That might be a UK model as, judging from
the speed, HP, and amps it just might be 220 volts 50 Hertz.

I am in Canada.
The nameplate listed the voltage as 115 so I am guessing not a UK model.

Then the HP rating, current, and speed are goofy.

Thats what I thought. But I don't know enough about the equipment to be sure. I took the info off the plate myself.

I was told it was WWII era so I suppose it is entirely possible it was a UK model brought over and rewired for 115 but why would they change the plate?

My take is that they didn't. The plate seems consistent with 220 VAC,
50 Hz. operation. Isn't that the UK standard?
