Induction and copper pans
Looking at my instruction booklet for my "Berghoff International (since 1964)" two induction units, I read "Non-compatible pans: Heat Resistant Glass, Ceramic container, copper, aluminum pots or pans." I wonder if some copper pans have a magnetic ring in the bottom to make them usable on an induction. The reason I ask is that I have a very-large heavy stainless steel pot (Kirkland-made in Italy) stock pot [not a part of my regular set, Wayne, if you are reading] that a magnet does not stick to it, whereas my regular ss set from Kirkland does have the manget sticking to it. Thanks for any comment. |
