Default :: Desperately Need Help With Choosing An Espresso Machine ::

G R E E T I N G S !

I am looking to buy a commercial semi-automatic espresso machine in the next
week or so as a gift for my European friend, an avid espresso drinker. After
reading and doing a fair amount of research, I have narrowed my choices to 4
models:

[1] Rancilio S-24 (3.9 litre copper boiler)
[2] CMA Wega Lyra (2 litre copper boiler)
[3] ECM Giotto (1.8 litre nickel-plated copper boiler)
[4] Isomac Tea (1.4 litre nickel-plated copper boiler)

How do these models compare?

Of course I am greatly interested in the Cimbali Junior and Rancilio S-27,
both with a rotary pump, but I have a budget of under $2000.

Is there anybody who is willing to share their experience, recommendations,
comments, tips, words of wisdom with me?

Feel free to email me directly if you prefer.

Cheers!
Chipie

It's as good as the Giotto at a much lower price. From what I hear, the
Giotto's drip tray is too small.
