Default Firestone Walker To Release "Batch 100"

Paso Robles, CA-Firestone Walker Fine Ales announced today the imminent
release of "Batch 1000," a special limited edition of the brewery's flagship
Double Barrel Ale. Batch 1000 commemorates the one-thousandth batch of beer
brewed at Firestone Walker's brewery in Paso Robles.

"We are sparing no expense or labor in crafting this beer," said Proprietor
David Walker. "We want to offer something truly special to mark this
eventful occasion at our brewery."

While similar in style and flavor to the Double Barrel Ale, Batch 1000
boasts the added distinction of being unfiltered, bottle conditioned and
entirely fermented in new American oak barrels. It offers a vivid oak
character with accents of vanilla, caramel and toast, all of which unfold
along a smooth, creamy texture.

Batch 1000 will be released in the first week of November and will be
available at Beverages & More locations and other select retailers across
California, as well as at Firestone Walker's taprooms in Paso Robles and
Buellton. It will also be available for purchase online at
www.shopfirestone.com.

Only 6,000 22-ounce bottles of Batch 1000 will be produced, and each bottle
will be packaged in an individual Batch 1000 box. The suggested retail price
is $5.99 per bottle.

"While some might be inclined to cellar Batch 1000 for a special occasion, I
recommend enjoying it in its youth, at its freshest," said Brewmaster Matt
Brynildson.

Firestone Walker Fine Ales was founded in 1996 in Los Olivos and moved its
brewing operations to its new brewery in Paso Robles in 2001.

Founded in 1996 on California's Central Coast, Firestone Walker Fine Ales is
a regional brewery committed to quality, innovation and tradition. The beers
of Firestone Walker Fine Ales-which are crafted in the patented Firestone
Union oak barrel brewing system-have earned gold medals at the World Beer
Cup, World Beer Championships, Great American Beer Festival, Real Ale
Festival, Australian International Beer Awards and California State Fair. In
2004, Firestone Walker Fine Ales was declared "World Beer Cup Champion
Brewery" for the category of Mid-Size Brewing Company. Firestone Walker Fine
Ales distributes its beers across California.
