It figures... I find a nice lager and now I can not find it where it used to
be sold...does anyone know what's going on with Czechvar here in Central
Florida...? It used to be in many stores and now it is nowhere.

No idea about Fla. There are others that, IMO, are less expensive and
equal if not better. Starobrno is easily found here in SoCal as id
Staropramen. If you run across either while hunting the Czechvar, give it
a try. And, of course, you should be able to fall back on PU *overprices
as it is) if you're really jonesin' for a Pilsener.

Overpriced? I was paying $18 a case for P/U when Czechvar hit the
market in NJ for around $26 a case. And I prefer P/U.

Don't know what either is going for now (Prima Pils or Jever are my
pilsners of choice these days).
