Huh! A friend of mine lived next to a Mormon church in Salt Lake City.
Every so often, he would put a few beers in an esky, and sit out on his
porch on a Sunday, and drink his beers while waving hello to any
church-goers he knew.

So you can swill away in full view in Mormon-central, but not in Virginia?
Crazy.
