Jack Daniels Championship?

Would this be a fun way to blow a day for a couple of vacationers?

I assume there is a bunch of Q for sale there?

I'm trying to divest myself of some Delta Skymiles and the Wife and I
are looking to travel that weekend.

Thx

Mike

I don't know about whether or not they'll be selling BBQ, but Middle TN is
a great place to visit for a weekend.

Well, we were going to go, but Delta has found a way to screw Skymiles
holders out of 1/2 the value of their miles by making most trips a
50,000 mile ticket. Used to be that anything within the lower 48 was a
25,000 mile trip.
I had 55,000 miles and wanted to use them up before things get any
scarier with Delta, so we just booked two tickets to Seattle instead.
Seattle in October. Hmmm, guess we'll be doing an espresso bar tour.
Next Spring though, we will see the S.E. US for the first time.

Every time I've been to the J.D. it's been colder than a witches tit at
night. It's in October, right?

As far as Q for sale, forget about it. There'll be a couple of vendors
charging ungodly prices for substandard wares.

You gotta show up Friday afternoon and get to know some teams. Q folk are
friendly folk and you will get invited to partake of some scrumptious
groceries and tasty beverages.

It's best if you don't mind sleeping on the ground or in your truck, cause
you can't legally leave after meeting a few competition cookers.

The S.E. US is my favorite place in the country. You'll meet some
backwoods, ignorant mofo's, but generally speaking the people are friendlier
than anywhere else.

Spring and fall are the best times. Summer's too hot and dry, and winter is
a bitch just like everywhere else.......except here in Florida or Hawaii of
course.

While you're there tell Bubba I said, "Hey". G
