Brinkmann Gas Grill King Deluxe
Any comments on the quality of the Brinkmann Gas Grill King Deluxe? I
am considering a purchase in the new future (sub $300 range) and this looks like a contender. All constructive inputs are welcome. Thanks. Here is a link to the unit. http://www.thebrinkmanncorp.com/acb/...ID=574&CATID=6 |

Capable of extreme high temps, super large grease catcher and cast iron grates. I even got the wok accessory! Works great, wouldn't trade it. I have layed eyes and hands on it. Best advice. Don't bother. Wait til you
can spend your $$$ on a weber. even with the genesis a you'll have a far more reliable and useable product and it last. Thanks for the super fast replies.
I am considering the Weber Genesis Silver A, but it is at the top of my price range. The other units I am considering are the Sam's Club stainless steel $299 grill (I couldn't find it online), the $199 BBQ Grillware 3 burner from lowes (http://www.lowes.com/lkn?action=prod...46487-GSF-2616), and the grill'n'roast 2015l for $249 (http://www.grillnroast.com/grill.asp). If anyone has input on these, all help is appreciated. Thanks again. |

Don't waste your money on the SC unit. I did and there is no support, they
will not work properly in any kind of breeze even a chipmunk fart will disrupt the cooking. I got the mid range unit about 20 months ago as I needed something larger than the Genesis and even at $1600 for a Summit Gold D it would have been money much more well spent. OK, I got the grill. I decided to go for the BBQ Grillware at Lowes
for $199. It looked like a really good unit. I checked the stainless steel with a magnet and it was good. They had a preassembled one on site so I checked out. As the attendant was helping me bring my new baby out to the car, I spotted something. Three grills over from my preassembled one was a Weber Genesis Silver B (Not A). I thought I would give it a look to compare it to my new purchase. I expected to see the $500-600 pricetag like everywhere else. I was shocked to see it marked at $252. The wheels in my head started turning and finally I went back in to make the exchange. The other grill didn't even make it to my car. We loaded up our new Weber and came home. It came preassembled, so setup was a matter of connecting the LP tank and cranking it up. Unfortunately, the only meat in our fridge was a few new york hotdogs, but they made a tasty first meal on the new grill. Thanks for all your help and support in this life changing decision! |
