Jack Curry's memorial service
Monroe will likely be flying down for the wekend while I stay here and
maintain the ol'homestead. Monroe will be printing your rememberences of Jack from these 2 ng's and from the K Forum to give to Rindy ( Mrs. C) to let her know how many folks her husband touched and how he ws loved and respected, despite the occasional political altercation by those he touched via on-line communication. The kind words directed towards him mean a lot to me and Monroe as well as Matthew Martin. Those 2 corresponded with him both via lots of emails and by phone. When we lost everything to our housefire, Jack and Rindy immediately offered to open their home to us for as long as it took... I cannot tell you how much that meant to us- and I am tearing up again to the point that the words on the monitor look blurry. Miranda The Barbecue Widow |

Yes. Rindy should certainly know how much I, and others of my ilk, loved and respected Jack, despite our polital differences. He was good-natured, witty, knowledgeable and generous. I considered him a friend and mentor and will sorely miss him. > > [ . . . ]I am tearing up again to the point that the words on the monitor > look blurry. > You ain't alone, Miranda.
