Ol' Hippie, I'm not THC but I work in the autoID (barcode) industry, what
kind of help did you need? I just started smoking a few months back, and was
lurking on afb when I saw your message. I also live in Oregon (Eugene).

Well hi & welcome to the group! Lots of great people in here, and a few not
so great too. Lerk or contribute it's a great group.
Now about the bar code, We ought to email back & forth cause we might get
hammered for the OT thread, but what the hell.
I have paid my fee to the UCC and waiting for their package to arrive, in
the meantime I believe the correct code for me to use is UPC-A. I mfg.
barbeque sauce. I need to add the bar code to my existing labels, and want
to be able to have some printed professionally and some I will print myself.
There is a ton I need to learn before I actually deliver these bar coded
jars to a chain store. So if you think you can shed any light in my
direction I would appreciate it.
By the way our Gold Beach Panthers just played in Eugene last night for the
high school 2A state championship, haven't heard how they did yet, hope the
came out on top.

Sorry Bruce. Gold Beach scored an 87-yard touchdown with 2:53 to go, but
missed the extra point and lost 20-19. I've used up your jar of sauce;
anywhere in Seattle area to buy more?

Ol' Hippie 11-12-2004 09:16 PM

Hi Dick
So far no, that is what I am working on now is to create bar codes for all
our stuff, then we will be able to get into larger chains, not ready to
produce thousands of cases just yet, Our next step is Rays Food Place in
Oregon & Ca.
What did everyone think of it? and what did you use it on? I thought Sarra's
Bloody Hippie thing was pretty cool.

So far, it's good on pork and chicken and as a dip with tortilla chips. I
missed Saara's Bloody Hippie! Will that be on yer 'Recipes' page?

Hey Nick;
It will definitely be included in whatever form our recipes end up. I hope I
saved it though, come to think of it I might have to write Sarra for a copy.
How the heck are ya anyway, I have been battling with our new news service
provider couldn't send messages for quite awhile, so basically been lurking
for awhile.

Hi Bruce,

Hope ya got it. I'm always lookin' for a tasty way to maintain my blood
alcohol level and general incoherence at a reasonable level. Other than
that, I'm doin' good enough. Ya gonna post bar code on a.b.f?

Hugs to G'ganna. °~)

Hey Bruce,
We used it on ribs and chickens that we smoked, and grilled sausages. I
used some on a roast beef sandwich. My wife also used it on a grilled steak
and Chicken McNuts. And then it was gone. We loved it.

Ol' Hippie 12-12-2004 12:22 PM

Hi Dick I am glad your family liked it. Hard to believe it's been two months
since the get together. Gettin pretty hard to get the fire started in the
grill around here, 60 mph winds and rain, might have to resort to my propane
torch, and a couple of ponchos (one for me one for the grill.)
we have been playing around with a new recipe really high in the Ginger
department, seems to be a hit with a lot of folks it's not for those that
can't handle spicy! the medium is pretty dang hot for me. Course TFM would
add habeneros I am sure.
