Barbecue (alt.food.barbecue) Discuss barbecue and grilling--southern style "low and slow" smoking of ribs, shoulders and briskets, as well as direct heat grilling of everything from burgers to salmon to vegetables.

Default RFC's best posters list

dsi1 - uncommonly good-natured, humorous, well read, always willing to
share island lore, and seemingly immune to bad vibes and trolling. Very
much a gold standard here and greatly appreciated by all but the most
bilious and hateful trolls.

Cheri - kind, polite, even tempered, willing conversationalist who
enriches conversations with brief but pertinent commentaries.

Cindy Hamilton - the keen mind of an engineer and the wry wit of a
Michigander, unflappable, approachable, but also willing to consider
divergent viewpoints - improves the group by stability.

cshenk - gold standard pet guardian and obvious foodie with a track
record of keeping on topic and thereby reducing clutter.

Ed Pawlowski - the pride of Philly, baby. Plays usenet the right way,
shares topically and humorously too.

Gregory Morrow - one of the first to see right through Sqwerty's
manipulations, a dry wit and agile mind - a keeper.

Helpful person - well named.

Janet B - Idaho's best. Pleasant, topical, largely troll-proof, someone
you'd like to find in any functional group.

Julie Bove - totally eclectic, opinionated, individualistic, amusing, a
dry wit that many seem to miss, a sharing and caring person with
remarkable powers of observation.

koko - 100% rating. The most luscious photos, recipes and useful website
in the group. Completely troll-proof and always has positive vibes.

I not -I - solid performer who stays far from the flame wars - a valued
contributor.

Nancy Young - topical, mannerly, well rounded contributor who carries a
conversation forward nicely.

notbob - buy why not? Quirky, interesting chap from the new home of
legal weed, always has interesting things to share.

Ophelia - likely the kindest and most compassionate poster in the group,
but will stand and fight for herself when attacked. Rescues dogs a big plus!

S Viemeister - solid contributor and troll resistant as well, always
pertinent.

sf - like koko, the gold standard here for unrivaled depth of knowledge
in matters culinary, a font of useful links and commentaries, appealing
self-confidence and troll-proof armor plating. The group founders if she
ever chooses to leave.

tert in seattle - yes please, share a bit more.

Xeno - single handedly upholding the reputation for Aussies that JeBus
seems bound on ruining.

....if you feel left out it may be just a matter of my picking those who
post the most or have been here the longest...

Go on then, self nominate to your heart's content!

Enjoy!
