Adios for a while.
Gonna be gone trying to get some of my own meat for que. Headed up to
the remote woods around Patten, Maine on tomorrow for a week to chase whitetail and black bear. Hopefully it won't be the other way around. ;-) I've never qued venison or bear but I'm willing to give it a try. Hopefully I'll have the chance. If I do I'll let ya know how it turns out. Catcha in about a week and a half. -- Steve Who was the first person to say, "See that chicken there... I'm gonna eat the next thing that comes outta it's ass?" |

Cows are very dangerous when they have a calf at their side. Staying away from moose in the wild is prudent. That said, I've been in a disparate group of people at the side of the road watching a sub-adult male eating in a swamp at a distance of 20 feet.
