Orin's Cedar-Planked Salmon
Orin's Cedar-Planked Salmon
Categories: Seafood, BBQ, Grill, USA, Main dish Yield: 8 servings 1 ea 2 lb salmon fillet 1" thick 1 ea Cedar plank 14"x7"x1" untreated 1/2 c Tomato vinaigrette dressing 1/4 c Fresh parsley minced 1/4 c Oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes minced 1 tb Olive oil Soak your cedar plank in water for 4-8 hrs. Place a weight on top of plank to keep it submerged. Pre-heat your grill to med-heat. Mix dressing, parsley & tomatoes then set aside. Brush top of plank with olive oil. Put yur salmpn on top of ypur plank plank then put on grill. Cover grill with lid. Grill for 10 mins. Brush salmon with our dressing mixture. Grill salmon for 10 more mins. until it flakes easily with a fork. ORIGIN: Orin Haley, Bremerton-WA, circa 2011 |
