They are in your Costco because it is summer and people buy things like that for outdoor cooking. |

why it was confusing, i guess is i figured that it would be specific in some
way to competitions, but it was pretty cheap, the dh didn't look and see what else they had, thanks, Lee "Ed Pawlowski" > wrote in message ... > > "Storrmmee" > wrote in message > ... >> what in the world is kingsford selling "competition " brickettes in my >> costco... questions >> >> what is the difference between these and regular, and again why are they >> in my costco, on sale for pretty cheap with a coupon, Lee >> > > Competition briquettes don't have as much filler crap in them, like coal > dust. > > They are in your Costco because it is summer and people buy things like > that for outdoor cooking. |

i can't remember but when dh was reading me the coupon flyer it seemed
cheaper than i remember regular brickettes, the coupon i think was off two bags, when dh wakes i will ask him, or you can go and i think look on there site, unless some other kind soul has the coupon book handy, heck, it might not even be all that cheap as i am going from memories from a couple of years ago, Lee "Kent" > wrote in message ... > > "Storrmmee" > wrote in message > ... >> what in the world is kingsford selling "competition " brickettes in my >> costco... questions >> >> what is the difference between these and regular, and again why are they >> in my costco, on sale for pretty cheap with a coupon, Lee >> > Here's a fairly thorough "road test" comparing Competition and regular > Kingsford. > http://www.patiodaddiobbq.com/2011/0...mpetition.html. > How much was it per pound at CostCo? > > Kent > > > |

But, it's > been a dull week, so go ahead. With a name like mine, and having a military dad moving the family every couple of years or so, kids making light-hearted comments about one's name is the natural course of things. And one quickly learns how to deal with the bullies who take it to the nth degree. :-) -- Dave "A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects."-------- ----- Robert Heinlein |

Three of these mfg homes wouldn't stop a .357. In a real house or more open area, I'd go with the 9mm or my .45. Actually, I'm thinking about getting a shotgun. -- Brick(Too soon old and too late smart) |
