IMMM BAAAACK.
Some of you may remember my questions about smokers and electric grills. well I cant get the smoker yet but I will. its a last minute thing but I want to make a party for the people I work with about 20 people. ( grill /bbq ) I am a total newbie and have never cooked on coals only gas grills ( Webber genesis ) I only have a motorcycle now and live in Manhattan, NY so I don't know where I can get gas. every once and a while I still like reading this group and figure. if I am going to learn it might as well be on something that can grill a nice steak as well as BBQ. I am going with charcoal. I am willing to spend about $250 on the BBQ and would like all the little gizmo's that can help a total newbie like myself. I have the rotisserie for the Webber and would love a way to rig it up on a charcoal grill. if possible . what grill do you think I should buy. and what suggestions might you have for preparing for the party. I am a newbie but I am also a good host. I want them to walk away happy. well I am going to go read the FAQ and see what kind of coal bbq's are out there. in short something that can grill a nice steak and also let me learn the art of BBQ. Thank You. Tom |
