Barbecue (alt.food.barbecue) Discuss barbecue and grilling--southern style "low and slow" smoking of ribs, shoulders and briskets, as well as direct heat grilling of everything from burgers to salmon to vegetables.

Maybe. But what I miss in business, I gain in family time and decompression.
:-) Plus, we'll be trying to market the idea that folks can pick up a
family-sized order on Saturday which can be re-heated and ready-to-eat
without draggin' everyone out to fetch dinner. If we see that business is
just too good to pass up on Sundays, we may switch to being closed on
Mondays..... which is usually the slowest day of the week for
food-away-from-home purchases.

You would need his permission, in advance, of course. I would suggest a
notarized affidavit. Unsolicited email will get you in *BIG* trouble with your
ISP according to Kevin. Even a single email is outright harassment according
to...Kevin.

You were told in no uncertain terms to stay the hell out of my
mailbox, top-poster. You continued to mail me. Ask your ISP's abuse
desk what they think of that practice.

Just for the record, your first childish e-mail consisted of the
following:

"F- U"

You must be very proud of yourself.

Any changes I came up with were already posted, other than the
spelling issues, I think it is a great start! Can't wait to see

Continued? Try responded...ONCE.

My ISP's abuse desk? Haven't heard a peep. Maybe they, like any other rational
person, would consider it to be a non-issue.

Top-poster? I'll go in the corner for a time out...

You mailed me after being told to stay out of my mailbox. That would
constitute a continuation of your earlier action.

What is your first language?

You're not fooling anyone by pretending that continuing to mail
someone after being told not to is both a violation of Netiquette and
of the AUP of most ISPs. You might be that pig-ignorant, but I doubt
it. I figure instead that you're being willfully obtuse.

I do notice that you stopped. Why is that? Hmmm?

Hey Dave, good to see you getting close!

My comment on the web site has to do with the menu.

I suggest redoing the menu in HTML. An HTML presentation for something
that's mostly text is usually going to look better than an image. For
instance, on my 'puter, some of the text is hard to read.

HTML also gives you freedom to rearrange things so that they look
better on a web page. Another big problem with an image is that
changing the menu requires scanning a new one and replacing the image.

The upshot is a menu that easier to read and maintain. Naturally, you
have tons on things going on, but it's something to consider. If you
need help, low-cost (as in free) advice is likely available from the
group.

Anyway, good luck and good Q!

Nah.... although if enough customers make requests for them, we would

I would suggest that you consider sweet potato fries. They can be
utterly divine, especially when served with honey mustard.

I agree here. I like a cinnamon dusting on sweet 'tater fries. (never thought
of the honey mustard)

Dave-

Congrats... Not bad for a quick and dirty. The basic facts are there.

I'd make *sure* address and phone number are on *every* page. (This
should be pretty easy with the GoDaddy tool)

A map using a Mapquest (or other online Map service) image and link to
their live map wouldn't hurt (eventually). I can help you with that if
you want to add it.
