Does anyone have this grill and are you happy with it ?
In addition I am thinking of purchasing the Rotisserie attachment, has
anyone purchased this Weber accessory and do you like it ?
Any feedback would be great.

Hi Dan. You can try to google the AFB archives and you'll likely find some
previous posts about the Performer. Here are a couple of review sites on the
Weber:

Sears has a dual fuel unit new for 2004. IIRC the model number is 16226
(why do I remember? don't have a clue).

It has an adjustable pan height for the charcoal and you have the option
of using it as a gasgrill. It might e something for you to look into.

I have the rotisserie attachment for the regular Weber kettle grill and
it's fine. Great for leg of lamb, whole beef sirloin and such things.

I have the Performer and the Genesis B on my patio side by side, and use the
Performer 85% of the time. Once you use the gas lighter you will find it
would be difficult to go back to the old way.
Do you need a rotisserie? I cook a 12-14lb turkey indirectly 1-2
times/yearly without any need for the rotisserie attachment. I had one at
one time and threw it out. You certainly don't need it for a leg of lamb,
nor for most pork roasts. Maybe for a Christmas goose! We usually cook that
on the indoor Farberware countertop rotisserie; that's the only way to
render the goosefat.
I would suggest playing around a bit before you spend the money on the
Rotisserie attachment.
Cheers, and good luck

Rotisserie chicken or rib eye is hard to beat, IMO. I would not have a
grill without a rotisserie. Everyone has their favorites.
