That's a GREAT price if you like WalkersWood. Since I like it, it makes it an
even better price since I pay in the neighborhood of $5 to$6 for the same (when
they have it). Would you reveal your source? I bet it's local and too far for
me anyway.

Cost Plus/World Market has Walkerswood jerk seasoning for about $4.00/10
oz jar. Try Grace (brand) if you see it. I prefer it over WW.

Neither of these (cost Plus/World Market) are available in Florida, as far as I
know.
Thanks for the heads-up on the "Grace"

That's a very good price. We only carry the 17 oz bottle, but looking at
the catalog it appears that you're getting the 10oz version in single bottle
quantities for pretty close to wholesale.
http://store.yahoo.com/carolinasauce...074745674.html (Hit the compare
button and you'll see what the various prices are for the product from our
competitors).

Check the date. But more likely the clerk thought it was the 5 oz bottle
when they put the price on it.

BTW, we recently picked up Walkerswood based upon comments made in this
group. It's great stuff.

Alberstons and Publix both have WW for $4.29 a jar. But if you want real
jerk you need a dry rub - try McCormick's Jamaican Jerk dry rub. I've gone
back to traditional jerk. No more wet rubs for me!

Not Albertsons (4 of them) or Publix (3 stores) in and around Orlando. They
aren't even interested in looking into it.

Thanks for the "heads-up" though. I'll stop in every time I pass a store that I
haven't been in.

I do use a dry rub too. The sauce is for after.

Albertsons where? The Albertsons here in the hometown of Albertsons
doesn't carry it.

BTW, you can order from Albertsons online in some parts of the US. You
can either pick up your order or have it delivered.

Now that I think Albertsons does carry.

I'm amazed that the manager of an Albertsons won't special order the
Walker's Wood for you. The Albertsons here in the hometown of
Albertsons advertise the fact that they'll special order items.

Looks like you're stuck with ordering it from their website BOB. I get it
from the 'Cuban' mom & pop shops here in Tampa.
