Thanks Nick. Always impressive to witness. Even more so when in the
company of those who maintain silence throughout the routines to enable
hearing it as well as seeing it. The sound is choreographed as well but
in that type of setting, it's difficult to appreciate in all of it's
intricacies.

Not good. I wrote this as part of an earlier post:
"I was involved in a near fatal (for me and my son) car crash which WAS
fatal for the driver that ran a stop sign. It undid all of the progress I
made from my back surgery in June. I was scheduled to return to work. Oral
medications are now useless against the pain. Next Tuesday [tomorrow] I
visit a pain specialist to decide how best to infiltrate my spine with
catheter-delivered medications, perhaps using an infusion pump.

Thanks for thinking of me, Amigo.

Wow Dave, I know that was to Nonny but I'm VERY sorry to hear that!
You've certainly had one hell of a run of bad luck. I hope things start
getting better for you soon.

I commented to Om that those M1's, as equipped, weigh 11.2 pounds. They
were tossing them around like feathers!

Me too. The pain is barely tolerable, to the point of limiting activity.
That's the primary reason for posting so much, it helps porvide a
distraction.

You mean, that, that, they aren't plastic replicas? I've seen this
drill many times and it always impresses me. Too bad they can't do
that show in CA. Prohibited by Barbara Lee, Pelose, Boxer and
Fainstain because it's too *militaristic* After all they are wearing
uniforms and <gasp> using rifles! Aren't they the same people that
want to outlaw Fleet Week in San Francisco? They've even tried to
stop the Blue Angels from their demonstrations because after all,
airplanes drop bombs on innocent people.
Well, at least they've done something good. They've designated San
Francisco and Berkeley as a no nuclear bomb area. It means that an
enemy cannot nuke SF and Berkeley. It would be against the law!
