Hi,

Can you be a bit more specific in what you are looking for? Is it for
a small family and do you want to move it around in the garden, or is
it trailer mounted to feed a large group. Why just a grill? Do you not
want to barbecue and smoke?
I build a smoker from stainless steel and have the following advice:
A minimum of 4 mm is required.
Make sure the fire does touch the SS or it will turn blue. (or make
the inside from ordinary steel)
When building a smoker the barrel where you have the fire will feed a
smoke barrel that is 5 times as big
Material you can recycle: beer barrel (50 liter to 1000 liter),
boilers (30 liter to 500 liter), milk tanks (300 liter to 5000 liter
look for the none insulated ones) and of course your standard 55
gallon barrel (Usually the do not match the 4 mm criteria)
