Get the software you're using to Stormmmee before another war starts!!!

There's a thread on this subject at alt.support.diabetes, too.

If it won't work with Thunder which is my screen reader, I doubt it will
work with window eyes. Sometimes when you add on things like this it just
won't work. If there is a "storm" we will weather it. Will post to those
who will answer and not to those who won't. I am not trying to be a smart
ass about this, it is what it is.

Technology can bring us so far but we still have to depend on people to help
the rest of the way.

Over the years, we've had some posters with serious mental, emotional and
physical challenges. We're Q'ers. For the most part, we've been able to be
supportive of them. Some may have forgotten their dark days (no pun
intended).

Maybe no pun was intended but I thought it was punny anyway. Funny like
people telling the kids at a blind school to eat carrots "they are good for
your eyes." RIGHT.

Marty if you have such a problem with this, please just kill file me. If it
is a problem for everyone then, I can go elsewhere, though I would hate to.

For the last time, it did not force me to top post. For some reason, the
program and the screen reader did not like each other and the damn thing
chattered. I am bottom posting, trying to please those who don't like the
top posting thing. However, I have to watch each post and it IS hard on my
eyes. I will do it as long as I can and then, well we will see what happens
then.

This to me isn't about thick skin, I could give you reams of typing on that
subject. To fit with a group of people you have to be comfortable, and so
do they. If someone hated the way I Q'd something, could tell them to buzz
off and be done with it. If you don't like the way I do wood or charcoal,
too bad.

If you can't agree on a format, then you have to deal everytime with the
Same Old Shit and I don't want to have to keep repeating myself. Especially
since I, like some others, tend to forget what I was saying!

This misconception makes you rather misadapted to usenet. No wonder
you're wandering around bumping into things, figuratively speaking.

In actual fact:

1. You don't have to like anyone else's posts (or them)

2. They don't have to like your posts (or you)

Frankly, all of the noise over you and top posting, your
friggin screen reader, et al, has not exactly endeared you to
me. So, your efforts at popularity have completely failed
anyway.

Get it now?

Just go ahead and post on-topic. Ignore all the extraneous
noise as it's a permanent part of the background.

**** it! Ignore the shit. Don't bother answering it. That's what I do
(except when I wanna give someone a poke in the stick with a sharp eye).

Please don't give me reams of anything. I've been reamed before . . .
didn't like it. ;-/

In other words, RegForte's opinions and comments, like mine, don't mean
diddly squat.

Ob food: Bought two pizzas last night. Just went to get a slice. 1/4 slice
left. My grandkids love pizza, dammit!

And they also bring so much joy. Those morning piano serenades make my day!

Those little rascals had the pizza in the outside 'fridge, so I got a blood
glucose busting slice after all!

I often make pizza with pulled pork and I swear my neighbor must have a
webcam in the kitchen, she knows it everytime. I use BBQ sauce, instead of
pizza sauce.

I hope this means you are objecting because you are Italian and think Pizza
is only cheese.

I guess this means I shouldn't tell you, have also used pulled pork for
Tacos in a bag. The boyscouts I help feed from time to time really like
this.

1. I am of Sicilian, not Italian heritage. Don't ask!

2. I don't use, but have no problem with, pulled pork, sausage, ham,
mushroom or even jalapeño on a pizza. I prefer peperoni and black olives.

3. BBQ sauce is where we part company. There are ten times as many BBQ
sauces as there are manufacturers therof. Try this for starters:

Sicilian Pizza Sauce

3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes or 2 lbs fresh (San Marzano)
2 teaspoons dried basil, crumbled
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
salt & fresh ground pepper
3 large garlic cloves, minced

1. Heat oil in heavy medium saucepan over medium heat.

2. Add onion, basil and oregano; cook until onion softens slightly,
stirring occasionally, about 6 minutes.

3. Mix in garlic and cook 2 minutes.

4. Add tomato paste and cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. Add tomatoes, if fresh, use a masher, and bring to a simmer; cook until
sauce is of desired thickness.

6. Season with salt and pepper.

7. NOTE: Sauce can be prepared ahead. Cover and refrigerate 1 week or
freeze up to 1 month.

marty its the screen reader that doesn't allow the response to be positioned
correctly and the extra program you are discussing here, the one sent to
Gramby inhibits the screen reader to the pont that it just makes it chatter
like the satilite feed for digital TV when its not focused. Lee

trying, after over ten years of usenet and adaptive tech issues, this is how
it is, and while i enjoy everyone on this group i can't change it and i
won't apologize for the electronic shortcomings of the computer age, Lee

no problems with changes in post position, after i post it its public
property. I actually hate to cook for the most part so DH does the majority
of it, and he is excellent at it, i do some of the bulk cooking and a few
specific dishes, and i was raised in a family that is both large and eats
like hogs who want to be butchered so i have difficulty cooking less than 12
servings of anything, lee
