Someone once told me I should post some pictures of whatever I smoke on
alt.binaries.food. I've given it a try and hopefully this will work (I've
never taken pictures of food before). Several weeks ago I wanted some
pulled pork and thought if I'm going to fire up the smoker I should do a
brisket as well. I couldn't find a brisket anywhere! I went to my local
meat market, they had just sold the last brisket an hour before I got there.
I went to three Publix stores and two WinDixie stores. I finally settled on
a roast. I can't even remember now what I bought but it was one that was
supposed to be cooked in an oven so I thought it would work in the smoker.
It turned out tasty. Not as good as brisket would have been but certainly
edible. Next time I think I'm going to smoke a turkey. Anyway, there are
several pictures posted by "Julie and Sam". I hope I did this right.
