PORK BUTTS THAWED THEN REFROZEN

I have a pair of pork butts that were in a freezer. The door got left
open just enough for everything to thaw over a couple of days. When
discovered, the problem was fixed and the butts were refrozen. I'm not
sure the meat was thawed completely, but even if it was, it was only
for a day or so, then it was refrozen. Question: Should I be concerned
about the meat still being good? Or should I just replace it?

Health wise, there is no concern. The only damage "may" be the texture. If
you are going to pull them, it probably won't make any difference anyway..

I wouldn't worry. I've done this now and then and not suffered any. It might
chew a bit differently, but if you're long cooking it that shoudn't make a
difference.
