Competitor and Power Guru arrived

The UPS box came last night. Everything was packed great and nothing
seemed to be damaged. I'm going to do some installation today and might
do up some ribs tomorrow, since I'm out of my frozen stash.

The Competitor controller has an attached bracket that can be mounted on
the pit (Bradley in my case), but the Power Guru only has rubber feet.
While the control unit sure appears to be able to weather a little rain,
the Power Guru is definitely something that is not intended for exposure
to the weather. Since it has a big heat sink on the back, I'm worried
about trying to mount it or put it in a weatherproof box. What I might
have to do is keep it and the control unit in a drawer under the
Bradley, and do some serious plugging in when I want them.

The nice part is that I can either use just the Bradley digital controls
for regular cooking, or by switching one plug on the back of the
Bradley, use the Power Guru/Competitor. That's nice, and the Bradley's
own hood temperature sensor/LED readout will still work.

More later.
