looking for a special linzer torte recipe
I am on a linzer torte mission. I have baked a variety of recipes all good
but I am looking for a liner torte that has some height to it like 2 inches or so and not overly cake like in quality but more tart like dough quality. I was hoping to surprise someone special at Valentines with a linzer torte Any tried and true recipes anyone has to offer? Appreciate the posts /e-mail !!! thanks Joan |

That said, I suppose you could take a recipe that results in a short torte, double it, and bake it in a same size pan, perhaps for a bit longer. I've never made a linzertorte myself, but the reviews on these recipes make them sound pretty good: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/re...s/views/109549 http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/re...s/views/106029 http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/re...s/views/105847 http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/re...ws/views/10972 ~Peggy |
