Actually, I said I'm *from* Jersey. But I've been either living or spending lots
of time in NYC -- including down at Cortlandt Street, before those ugly WTC
towers were ever built -- since the late 1950's.

I now live in DC -- the actual capital of the free world, with no water in our
nice, clean, safe subway system.

It's DC that is supposed to have penis envy toward NYC, and the Washington Post
toward the NY Times. What are you so defensive about? 8
