Root Beer Cake
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
2 cups cake flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, room temperature
1 cup sugar
1teaspoon root beer extract
2/3 cup root beer
Beat butter until soft. Mix together flour, baking powder and salt. Beat in
eggs, sugar, and root beer extract. Fold in flour mixture. Stir in root beer.
Bake in a bundt pan at 375 F for 35 minutes. When cool frost with root beer
Root Beer Frosting
3 ounce block cream cheese, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup root beer
1/4 teaspoon orange extract
Mix all ingredients together until spreading consistency. Spread on cake.
