My wife has recently gone vegan having been vegetarian for over 14
years and is feeling the pinch especially with regard to sweets. We've
found a number of sweets that are vegan but so far the list is pretty
feeble.

By mainstream I mean the sort of stuff you could buy in any supermarket
or newsagents, rather than the long list of 'specialist diet' sweets
available for sometimes obscene prices via specialist retaillers and
'health' food shops.
