2 tablespoons finely chopped crystallized ginger
1/4 cup honey
1 bottle 750 milliliters dry red wine
1/2 cup medium dry sherry
In 2 quart saucepan heat ginger, honey and 1/4 cup water to boiling over high heat.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Add wine and sherry.
Heat over medium heat until warm.
