Hey, Bill! Long time, and all that. What you got is Aldi's answer to
"Two Buck Chuck." It's made by Gallo for Aldi and sold under the
Winking Owl label. Unlike 2BC, it stands a reasonable chance of being a
consistent product since Gallo owns a lot of vineyards themselves,
unlike Bronco (the maker of 2BC for TJs) Given the volume of the sales,
I'd suggest stocking up because they probably will issue it in several
lots throughout the year. Maybe not, though (it is Gallo, after all,
the master of bulk sales).
