To be fair, Kevin's just quoting the proposed USDA guidelines, not
agreeing with them. But it's definitely a stupid rule. The kind of
person who is messy enough to spread the meat and/or juices and/or
waste water around the kitchen probably wouldn't wash it in the
first place...
