I almost never see vegetarians that are overweight or very unhealthy. You can make it work it you try.

I've left a tag to some vegetarian food storage that has protein shakes and other products to help provide protein for vegetarians.
Protein can also be available in seafoods, white-meat poultry, milk, cheese, yogurt, eggs, beans, pork tenderloin, soy and lean beef.
