Default 2009 Patz & Hall Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

I've been working my way through a bunch of California Pinot Noir from
the 2009 vintage. Last night I had the 2009 Patz & Hall Sonoma Coast
Pinto Noir along with a veal meatloaf studded with Gorgonzola and
served with smashed redskins and mushroom gravy. Patz & Hall does a
number of single vineyard wines but this was their generic Sonoma
Coast bottling. Solid nose of cranberry, black cherry and asian
spices. Full bodied but not heavy on the palate with cherry,
raspberry and spicy cinnamon flavors. Nice smooth tannins on the
finish. Solid B+
