I've managed 17 bottles in the boot of a 1962 MGA Coupe coming back from Napa,
and 8 cases in a Jensen Interceptor, although with that load she was riding
pretty close to the Plimsoll line, and had to take care to avoid potentially
damaging objects in the road - like pebbles, cigarette packages on
edge.........

Damned Lamborghini is only good for a couple of cases, and then only if you
take the wine out first, or put them behind the seats!

A blown Miata sounds interesting. I will have to replace my street vehicle one
of these days soon (it is 15 years old) and was thinking about a Honda S2000 or
a 90s Corvette - obviously not worrying about cargo capacity.
