martinis (gin or vodka)
When in a restaurant that makes a good classic martini the drink is
very smooth. When I make them at home they are always harsh. My wife
(who likes vodka martinis) says at a restaurant she can't taste the
alcohol. What am I doing wrong? Too much vermouth? Too little
vermouth? I shake the crap out of it and let it get really cold.
Could I be shaking it too much?
