Default Lunch Wines

I met a few friends for lunch today and all broght a bottle.

2006 Sine Qua Non Autrement Dit Rose-Really kinda wierd for a Rose.
Almost a full out red wine but for SQN it was light in color but not
in flavor. Quite fruity which gave the impression of sweetness but
significant amount of heat on the finish (15.6 abv) Strawberry,
watermelon, red raspberry on the palate with a fair amount of iron-
like minerality on the back end. "B"

2003 Shafer Relentless-A Syrah-Petite Syrah blend named after the
winemaker's nickname. Big and juicy yet much more together than when
I first tasted it on release. Still a fairly large wine. Blackberry,
blueberry, wood smoke, and black pepper. I couldn't stop sipping this
wine. "A-"

2004 Flavio Fanti "La Palazetta" Brunello di Montalcino-More of an old
style Brunello with just a hint of age. Black cherry and raisin and
plum. Smooth tannins. I met with Flavio a few years ago and worked
out the distribution right for Ohio for this wine so a bit of a
disclaimer. "B"

1998 Dolce(375)-Made by Far Niente. My favorite California dessert
wine. A deep golden yellow in the glass. Nose of honey and oranges
with a moderate amount of acidity (could use a dash more) "B+"
