I live in a state that has both income tax and, in my town, a 9 3/4%
sales tax but it's less on food. We also have legally-carried concealed
weapons, very few outright socialists, or at least socialists that will
admit they are socialists, lots of dead beats and scoff laws, and the
best politicians money can buy.

I always check the shipping costs against our local sales tax just to
see what the difference is. Sometimes you pay the shipping costs because
it is an item you need or just really, really, want.
