Default Peanut Butter Cookies

Peanut Butter Cookies

3 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup butter or shortening
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Sift 3 cups of all-purpose flour with 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/2
teaspoon of salt.Cream 1 cup butter or shortening, gradually add 1 cup
granulated sugar, blend well. Add 2 eggs,1 cup peanut butter,and 1
teaspoon of vanilla. Add dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly. roll into
ballsthe size of a walnut. Place on a baking pan. Press with fork about
1/4 inch thickness. Bake at 350 degrees F.
for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown. Yield: about 25 cookies.
