Default FA Pytchley Cookery book cook Victorian 1887 Dickens

The Pytchley Book or refined Cookery and Bills of Fare by Major L....
covers discoloured,a little worn ,but less so than appears in
scan, otherwise a good copy. Published by Charles Dickens and Evans,
Crystal Palace Press ,1887. 280 pages plus adverts.Dedicated to The
Countess Spencer ,whose husband has for years been the principal
supporter of the Pytchley Country.
Really georgeous mid victorian Cookery book ,very scarce with a
section of menus, and a host of exotic recipes. Also some lovely classic
pictorial advertising.Published by Charles Dickens and Evans, who was
the son of the original Charles Dickes, and Evans, Dickens juniors
father in law.
